As part of the September, school welcomed Karen Edmondson from Cumbria Deaf Association to work with all the staff on deaf awareness and sign language training. As part of our development plan, we aim to have a regular bank of common words that staff and pupils will regularly sign across all aspects of school. Inclusivity is a key element of our school vision and we are very excited at the latest developments.
