This afternoon, the junior pupils ventured out onto Arnside Knott for a well-being walk. Our aim was to promote good mental health and remind the pupils how simple exercise and fresh air can have a fantastic effect on the body and mind. We walked over to an area of private woodland where the landowner has kindly granted us access. This is an area we will be using in the Spring and Summer to do some conservation work and field work.  A picnic, fresh air, interesting conversations and a wonderful opportunity for the pupils to mix between the classes - a lovely afternoon for all involved.
